Maintenance and servicing of RockShox shock absorbers \u2013 RockShox Shock Service<\/h2>\n

At Tracea, our bike workshop in Saint-Cergue carries out servicing and maintenance on RockShox suspension forks for mountain bikes and e-MTBs.<\/p>\n

The RockShox Shock Service<\/strong> is recommended every 100 hours\u2019 use or at least once a year<\/strong> to ensure your suspension continues to work properly.<\/p>\n

RockShox MTB shock absorber service<\/h3>\n

Over time, the seals, oil and various internal components of your shock absorber may wear out. Regular maintenance helps to ensure smooth operation and minimise premature wear of the components.<\/p>\n

    What does the RockShox Shock Service include?<\/h3>\n

    Our servicing includes, amongst other things:<\/p>\n

    • complete dismantling of the shock absorber; ;<\/li>\n
    • cleaning and degreasing; ;<\/li>\n
    • inspection of the plunger; ;<\/li>\n
    • replacement of the recommended seals; ;<\/li>\n
    • replacing RockShox oil and grease; ;<\/li>\n
    • bleeding the hydraulic system; ;<\/li>\n
    • refill with nitrogen or air; ;<\/li>\n
    • reassembly and lubrication; ;<\/li>\n
    • checking that the settings and the locking mechanism are working correctly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The aim is to find a shock absorber smooth, responsive and high-performance<\/strong>, tailored to the needs of your mountain biking.<\/p>\n
