Mountain bike camps, July 2027 – ages 7 to 10

Description

Five days of mountain biking adventure for 7 to 10-year-olds, in the heart of the Vaud Jura! Over the course of a week, the children improve their cycling skills in the mornings and take part in a range of activities in the afternoons, supervised by a qualified instructor, in an environment designed with safety and fun in mind.

A busy week

Throughout the five days of the camp, the children make the most of the wide range of technical exercises, games and mountain bike rides. Afternoons are devoted to other activities: a treetop adventure course, orienteering, an introduction to biathlon and a visit to La Garenne Zoo.

Cycling programme

Whether your child is a beginner or already an experienced rider, they’ll learn all the techniques needed to ride safely on the trails: line choice, braking, riding position, negotiating obstacles, video analysis and debriefing, bike maintenance… The group is led by a qualified instructor (Swiss Cycling or J+S).

Safety first

It is with a view to ensuring maximum safety that our young cyclists tackle trails suited to their ability, wearing the necessary helmets and protective gear.
