The products offered for sale are those displayed on the TRACEA online shop, subject to availability.
TRACEA endeavours to present the products, their features and their photographs as accurately as possible.
The photographs and illustrations on this website are for illustrative purposes only. There may be slight differences in colour, presentation or finish between the photographs and the product delivered.
The key features of the product are set out in its product description.
In the event of an obvious error regarding the price, description or availability of a product, TRACEA reserves the right to contact the Customer to propose an appropriate solution or, if necessary, to cancel the order in question and refund any amounts already paid.
4. Price
All prices displayed in the online shop are shown in Swiss francs (CHF) and include the applicable Swiss VAT.
Any delivery charges are shown separately before the order is finally confirmed.
The price applicable to an order is the price displayed at the time the order is confirmed.
TRACEA reserves the right to change its prices at any time. These changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
Promotional offers are valid for the period stated and whilst stocks last, unless otherwise stated.
5. Order
The Customer selects the products they wish to purchase and adds them to their basket.
Before finalising their order, the Customer may review the order summary and correct any errors relating, in particular, to the products, quantities, delivery address or their contact details.
The order is definitively confirmed when the Customer clicks on the order button, which clearly states their obligation to pay.
The Customer warrants that the information provided when placing the order is accurate, complete and up to date.
TRACEA may refuse or cancel an order, in particular in the following cases:
- product permanently out of stock; ;
- an obvious error in the price or description; ;
- payment issue; ;
- suspicion of fraud; ;
- inability to deliver to the address provided; ;
- or any other exceptional circumstances preventing the fulfilment of the order.
In the event of the cancellation of an order that has already been paid for, the relevant amounts will be refunded to the Customer.
6. Order confirmation
Once the order has been confirmed, TRACEA will send the Customer an email confirmation to the email address provided when placing the order.
This confirmation contains, in particular, key information regarding the order, the products, the quantities, the price and delivery.
The Customer is advised to keep this confirmation and a copy of these Terms and Conditions.
7. Payment methods
The payment methods available are those offered on the online shop at the time of ordering.
Payment must be made in accordance with the terms and conditions displayed when the order is confirmed.
In the event of a payment being declined, cancelled or not received, TRACEA may suspend or cancel the order.
For certain products or specific orders, TRACEA may request payment in advance or a deposit. In such cases, the applicable special terms and conditions will be communicated to the Customer before the order is confirmed.
8. Delivery
TRACEA delivers the products ordered within Switzerland only.
Delivery is made to the address provided by the Customer when placing the order.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the information provided is accurate.
The delivery times shown on the website are for guidance only, unless a fixed delivery time is expressly stated.
A delay attributable to the carrier or to an event beyond TRACEA’s control does not, in itself, constitute a breach on the part of TRACEA.
In the event of a significant delay or unavailability affecting an order, TRACEA will inform the Customer as soon as possible and work with them to find a suitable solution.
9. In-store collection
Where this option is offered at the time of ordering, the Customer may choose to collect their order free of charge from the TRACEA shop:

1264 Saint-Cergue
Switzerland
The Customer is notified when their order is ready.
TRACEA may ask to see proof of identity and the order confirmation at the time of collection.
10. 14-day right of return for commercial purchases
TRACEA voluntarily grants the Customer a 14-day right of return for eligible products.
This right of return is a commercial service offered by TRACEA. It does not constitute a general statutory right of withdrawal under Swiss law.
The 14-day period begins the day after you receive the product.
The Customer must inform TRACEA of their intention to make a return before this period expires.
The detailed terms and conditions for returns are set out in TRACEA’s Returns and Refunds Policy, which is available on the website.
11. Products excluded from the right of return
The 14-day right of return does not apply to the following products:
- bicycles, mountain bikes, electric mountain bikes, electric bikes and all types of bicycles; ;
- products specially ordered from a supplier on behalf of the Customer; ;
- products that are customised or manufactured to the Customer’s specifications; ;
- products that have been modified or configured specifically at the Customer’s request; ;
- consumables whose packaging has been opened; ;
- products that cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons; ;
- gift cards that have already been used; ;
- services already carried out with the Client’s consent.
Where a product is subject to a specific exclusion, this may also be stated directly on its product page.
12. Specific exclusion of bicycles
Bicycles are expressly excluded from the 14-day right of return. This exclusion applies in particular to:
- Muscle-powered mountain bikes; ;
- Electric mountain bikes; ;
- electric bikes; ;
- Gravel bikes; ;
- road bikes; ;
- children's bikes; ;
- and any other type of bike offered by TRACEA.
Customers are advised to carefully check the model, size, configuration and specifications of their chosen bicycle before placing an order. TRACEA is available to assist the Customer prior to placing an order, in particular to advise on the choice of size, geometry, motorisation, intended use, components and the bike’s suitability for their needs.
The exclusion of the right of commercial return does not limit the Customer’s rights in the event of a product defect or a problem covered by the applicable warranty.
13. Return policy
For eligible products, the returned item must be in a condition that allows it to be resold. In particular, it must:
- to be clean; ;
- must not be damaged; ;
- show no signs of use that would be incompatible with a simple examination; ;
- be accompanied by its accessories; ;
- be accompanied, where possible, by its original packaging and documentation.
Full details are set out in TRACEA’s Returns and Refunds Policy.
14. Warranty and defects
TRACEA guarantees its products in accordance with the applicable legal provisions and any commercial warranties provided by the manufacturers.
Customers are asked to check the product upon receipt and to report any defects to TRACEA as soon as possible, at the following address: shop@tracea.ch, including the order number, the product in question, a description of the problem and, where relevant, photographs or videos.
The Customer’s rights in respect of defects are determined in accordance with Swiss law and any applicable contractual terms and conditions. The exclusion of the right of commercial return for certain products, in particular bicycles, does not constitute an exclusion of rights relating to a defect or an applicable warranty.
15. Manufacturers’ warranties
Certain products are covered by manufacturer’s warranties provided directly by the manufacturer. The terms, duration and conditions of these warranties may vary depending on the brand and product. Where necessary, TRACEA may forward the Customer’s claim to the manufacturer or its distributor. The manufacturer’s commercial warranties do not replace the Customer’s statutory rights.
16. Wear parts and product use
Parts that are normally subject to wear and tear are not considered to be faulty solely on the grounds of such normal wear and tear. For bicycles and technical products, this may include, in particular: tyres, inner tubes, chains, cassettes, brake pads, brake discs, grips, cables, bearings, batteries subject to normal ageing, and other components subject to wear and tear resulting from use.
Damage resulting, in particular, from a fall, an accident, misuse, unauthorised modification or inadequate maintenance may be excluded from the warranty.
17. Goods damaged during delivery
Customers are advised to check the condition of the parcel upon receipt. In the event of significant visible damage, we recommend that you report this to the carrier and contact TRACEA as soon as possible, providing, where possible, photographs of the parcel and the product, the order number and a description of the damage. TRACEA will assess the situation and determine the appropriate course of action.
18. Liability
TRACEA is liable for any damage for which it is legally responsible.
In particular, TRACEA cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from the product being used incorrectly, failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions, unauthorised modification or any event beyond its control.
The limitations of liability set out in these Terms and Conditions shall not apply where such a limitation is prohibited by law.
19. Data protection
Personal data provided by the Customer is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and TRACEA’s privacy policy. In particular, the data may be used to process orders, process payments, arrange deliveries, provide after-sales service, communicate with the Customer and comply with TRACEA’s legal obligations.
20. Intellectual property
The content on the TRACEA website, including text, photographs, logos, trade marks, illustrations and graphic elements, is protected by the relevant intellectual property laws. Any unauthorised reproduction or use is prohibited.
21. Amendments to the Terms and Conditions
TRACEA may amend these Terms and Conditions where necessary, in particular in the event of changes to its business or to the applicable legislation. The Terms and Conditions applicable to an order are those in force at the time that order is confirmed.
22. Governing law and jurisdiction
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law, subject to any applicable mandatory provisions. For consumers, the mandatory rules regarding the place of jurisdiction remain reserved. Subject to this reservation, the place of jurisdiction shall be the registered office of TRACEA Sàrl.
