RockShox Fork Maintenance and Servicing – RockShox Service

To ensure your suspension continues to perform well and remains reliable, regular maintenance is essential.

At Tarcea, our bike workshop in Saint-Cergue carries out servicing and maintenance on RockShox forks for mountain bikes and e-MTBs.

The RockShox Service enables you to check and maintain the various components of your fork to restore smooth, high-performance operation. RockShox recommends a service every 100 hours’ use or at least once a year.

RockShox MTB fork service

With every ride, the oil, seals and various components of your fork are subjected to a great deal of stress. Dust, moisture and the distance travelled can also lead to a gradual loss of performance.

Our workshop provides RockShox fork servicing including complete dismantling, thorough cleaning and the replacement of any necessary parts.

What does the RockShox Service include?

Our RockShox fork servicing includes, amongst other things:

• complete dismantling of the fork; ;
• cleaning and degreasing at the wash bay; ;
• inspection of the plungers and guide rings; ;
• replacement of the recommended seals on the spring side and the hydraulic cartridge; ;
• replacing RockShox oil and grease; ;
• fitting and lubricating RockShox seal rings; ;
• complete overhaul; ;
• checking that the settings and the locking mechanism are working correctly.

Any additional work and the necessary materials are invoiced separately. A quotation is provided when the cost of the additional work exceeds 150 CHF.

Why should you have your RockShox fork serviced?

A well-maintained fork helps to maintain the performance of your suspension and allows you to make the most of your mountain bike’s capabilities.

Regular reviews enable, amongst other things:

• maintain good suspension sensitivity; ;

A fork that is becoming less responsive, is operating erratically, or shows signs of oil or makes unusual noises should be checked by a professional.
