The Archette Trail
St-Cergue, Centre–St-Cergue, Les Cheseaux

The Archette snowshoe trail is a circular route that starts in the village of St-Cergue. It offers a walk through the forest with views of the Alps and Lake Geneva, as well as a chance to enjoy the forest in a Nordic setting.
This walk through the Corps de Garde woods starts in the village of St-Cergue, opposite the Vieux Château bakery, on the road towards Nyon.
A short climb through the woods of the Corps de Garde will take you to the magnificent panoramic view of the Old Castle. If the weather is on your side, you’ll be able to admire the Alpine mountain range and Lake Geneva. The spot is designed for you to linger, with tables and benches where you can enjoy the view and take some lovely photos.
The rest of the route takes you through forests, pastures and areas with holiday cottages, before leading you to a place called l’Archette, halfway along the route. You can then continue along the path to Le Cheseaux.
