The first part of this walking route through the St-Cerguois Jura takes you through pastures and forests. Setting off from the village, you pass along the ski runs to reach the Guinfard district with its traditional chalets overlooking Lake Geneva. You then arrive at L’Archette, the first of many pastures whose cows take part in the famous ‘Désalpe’ in autumn. Next come the mountain pastures of Couvaloup, St-Cergue and La Trélasse. You’ll arrive at the Givrine plateau, which in winter is the ideal spot for Nordic sports.

The second part of the route takes you through the valleys and past typical Jura farms, with their peat bogs and «gogants» (fir trees with multiple tops), showcasing the Jura Vaudois Regional Nature Park in all its natural splendour. From Combe Grasse, you can take a short detour to the ‘Fruitières de Nyon’ alpine chalet to see how cheese is made (in the morning) and enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Lake Geneva basin. Descend past the farms at Prangine and Borsattaz, before reaching the village for a well-deserved rest.
